What we collect, why, and the rights you have wherever you live.
Last updated 21 October 2026
Your journey is personal. We collect only what we need to guide you, we never sell your data, and we never share your profile with employers without your explicit consent.
Account details (name, email, optional phone). Journey details you give us (home country, destination, role, stage, experience, English test status, dream and motivations, budget). Documents you upload to your private vault. Messages with Ada and the support assistant. Payment records (handled by Stripe or Paystack; we never see your full card number). Basic usage events to improve the product, only with your consent for analytics cookies.
To build and update your personal journey, remind you of expiring documents, answer your questions, run your subscription, keep the community safe, and, only if you opt in, introduce you to verified employers or hand your details to NurseHuddle.
Data is stored with our hosting provider (Netlify) in managed databases and private storage. Documents are private and are only served to you after we check you are signed in. AI features are processed by Anthropic through Netlify AI Gateway; we do not allow your data to be used to train models.
Wherever you live, you can access, correct, export and delete your data, withdraw consent, and object to processing. Use Me > Privacy to download a copy of your data or delete your account instantly.
Canada: Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). European Union: General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). United Kingdom: UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Nigeria: Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA). Kenya: Data Protection Act 2019. South Africa: Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Philippines: Data Privacy Act of 2012. Where a law gives you stronger rights, we apply them.
We rely on contract (to provide the service you signed up for), consent (analytics, marketing, recruitment visibility, NurseHuddle handoff, WhatsApp messages), and legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, moderation).
Our providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we rely on recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account we delete your profile, journeys and documents, keeping only records we must keep by law (for example payment records for tax).
To exercise your rights or complain, contact us through the Help centre. You can also contact your local data protection authority.
